Please join me in congratulating Linda Hodgson, 2023 Vice-President and recently retired from WA State Department of Social & Health Services, Agency Contracts Training Manager as a finalist for the 2024 NIGP Procurement Manager of the Year Award. A well-deserved recognition from the Institute of Public Procurement and congratulating Breann Aggers, Procurement Strategist, WA State Department of Enterprise Services as one of the three finalists for the 2024 NIGP Procurement Specialist of the Year Award. The Procurement Specialist of the year Award will be announced during the NIGP Annual Dinner on Saturday, August 25th. All finalists will be recognized via short video reflecting on their individual accomplishments.

Happy Summer WANIGP members! The Pacific Northwest weather has finally delivered a few sun-
breaks and heat waves here and there. The Board of Directors is continually hard at work and meeting on a monthly basis to discuss tasks at hand and strategizing on how to continue to grow our membership not just in numbers but in engagement.
