WA-NIGP has funds available to help members with their education through scholarships. The Chapter's scholarship program was established to provide financial aid for courses, programs, and seminars related to public procurement, contracting, materials management, inventory control, specifications development, contract administration, contract negotiations and other related subjects.

General Membership Meetings
General membership meetings are scheduled throughout the year and are posted on the web site and announced to the membership by email. During January of each year, the Chapter hosts the annual Honors and Awards Meeting, which includes lunch, educational sessions, networking, honoring achievements and outstanding performances, and voting on chapter business. The Washington State Chapter of NIGP offers educational and training seminars designed for overall professional development and for members to obtain professional certification status, including Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB).
