About this event
This Lunch and Learn will focus on assisting agencies, including school districts, in establishing a PCard program or enhancing and leveraging an existing program for maximum effectiveness. Your speakers will briefly discuss how and where to start including rallying support from senior leadership, what the planning process looks like, reviewing and adding policies and procedures, and recommending other documents to have in place. The discussion will also include best practices, needed forms, and ideas for leveraging what your entity may already have in place. A look at how PCards can simplify the procurement process, end user reviews, and tips and tricks for promoting your program and educating users. Finally, a discussion on roles and responsibilities for a successful program and how to incorporate stakeholders like Accounts Payable, Finance, IT, and internal auditors to establish a comprehensive cross-functional team.
