I am both honored and privileged to present the 2024 President’s award to Samatha Miller.
Sam is truly deserving of this award as she is one who has shown unwavering commitment to our chapter, an individual whose dedication and hard work have greatly contributed to our organization. The President’s award is not given lightly, it is a testament to her exceptional service and outstanding accomplishments.
For those who have not had the pleasure of meeting Sam, I can’t sum up enough words to describe how much she has accomplished in such a short time and continuous to do so with rigor.
- She Leads by example with a can-do attitude
- She holds herself and the Board accountable
- She leads our Finance committee and put together our proposed budget yearly and monitors our spend activities throughout the year
- Takes her fiduciary responsibility seriously as our Treasurer -Instrumental in ensuring that revenues from the Vendor was billed and collected and deposited in a timely fashion
- She has been an active member of Emerging Professional Program and the Newsletter Committee
- She’s respectful and can be relied on especially in times of needs (you know how many fire drills we’ve had to endure this past year, but you were such a team player)
- I discovered that is she is a notary for Wenatchee
- Super talented individual and a pleasure to work with
- She is a trustworthy and good friend
