TWO WANIGP members are Finalist for 2024 NIGP AWARDS

Please join me in congratulating Linda Hodgson, 2023 Vice-President and recently retired from WA State Department of Social & Health Services, Agency Contracts Training Manager as a finalist for the 2024 NIGP Procurement Manager of the Year Award. A well-deserved recognition from the Institute of Public Procurement.
In NIGP's CEO, Rick Grimm's own words " I am confident that your finalist status reflects the many contributions you have made to your entity, your community, your chapter affiliates and the public procurement profession!". I couldn't agree more with Rick and so does the whole chapter of WANIGP membership.
The Procurement Manager of the year Award will be announced during the NIGP Annual Dinner on Sunday, August 25th in Charlotte, NC. All three finalists will be recognized via short video reflecting on their individual accomplishments. We cant's wait to celebrate in person with Linda no matter the outcome. Way to represent our chapter nationally.

This second award from NIGP is unprecedented for our local chapter and I am beyond proud and honored to witness the presentation and announcements in person in Charlotte, NC with my fellow chapter leaders and members. I highly encourage the virtual forum attendees to be available if the opportunity presents itself to cheer for our chapter representatives.
